Day 4: Opatija

Drive through the green countryside and medieval hill towns of inland Istria. Then you arrive at Motovun, a place of ravishing beauty. Motovun is the king of Istria’s medieval hill towns and still hosts a double ring of defensive walls and formidable towers and gates.
