Begin with a night in Zagreb and explore the best of it’s
charm, culture, history and lifestyle. Next, travel through the serene
Tuscan like scenery of Istria. Explore medieval hill town of
Motovun en route to a luxurious hotel in Opatija. While there,
explore the region according to your interests. Continue to Split for
three nights with a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park. During your
private city touring, experience Split, the largest city along the Adriatic
coast, according to your interests. You might like to explore the market
squares, art galleries in Trogir and of course, the famous Diocletian
Palace.
The tour concludes with a memorable day tour of
Montenegro, and two nights of Croatian-style luxury at exclusive Villa
Argentina in Dubrovnik, an elegant hotel overlooking the sea.

ITINERARY
|
Day 1: Arrive Zagreb
You will be greeted by your Tour Director and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon in leisure.

Day 2: Zagreb/Varadin/Zagreb
Varadin is one of the oldest European cities with first
mentions dating back as far as the XII century and tales of an even earlier
roman city at its place. Explore Trakošćan castle, one of Croatia's most
beautiful castles and museums with preserved furniture and weapons from the
period from the XV to the XIX century, and Veliki Tabor the best-preserved
medieval fortress in Croatia.

Day 3: Zagreb/Opatija
Croatia’s capital, Zagreb, will charm you with its abundance of
rich cultural heritage dating back to medieval days. Visit St. Mark’s church in
the Upper Town, the Croatian National Theater, and some of the many fine art
galleries. Stop at Dolac, the open-air market, and sample some delicious
homemade specialties. In the afternoon, we drive to Opatija. Hotel Mozart, Opatija,

Day 4: Opatija/Pula/Poreč/Opatija
Tour the Istrian Peninsula. Stop in Poreč, home to the famous basilica of St. Euphrasius. Then on to beautiful Rovinj, Istria’s cultural mecca where the monumental baroque Church of St. Euphemia resides. Journey through the serene Tuscan-like scenery with its rolling hills and picturesque quaint villages.

Day 5: Opatija/Plitvice/Split
Discover Plitvice Lakes National Park: an oasis of rare natural beauty and one of Europe’s most dazzling nature reserve parks. In the afternoon, we continue to the Diocletian town of Split.

Day 6: Split/Trogir/Split
Split is the largest city along the Adriatic coast. Visit the
palace of the 4th Century Roman Emperor Diocletian. Continue on to the charming
town of Trogir, and quickly see why it is called the museum city as you notice
the many artistic repositories it hosts. Hotel Vestibul, Split, (B).
Day 7: Split/Hvar/Split
Ferry ride to Hvar, one of Croatia’s most beautiful islands. Enjoy a tour of the city of Hvar, home to one of the first communal theaters in Europe, built in 1612 and called the Arsenal. Then sample some of Hvar’s delectable cuisine, and perhaps take a short drive to the beautiful fields of lavender. We return to Split.

Day 8: Split/Dubrovnik
Tour Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Visit the cloister at the Franciscan Monastery that is home to one of Europe’s oldest pharmacies.
Delight in the artistic treasures of the Assumption of the Virgin, the Rector’s Palace and the 14th Century Dominican Monastery. Villa Argentina, Dubrovnik,

Day 9: Dubrovnik/Montenegro/Dubrovnik
Montenegro is always an unforgettable experience. Enjoy the
drive around Kotor Bay, with its numerous small settlements. Stop in medieval
Kotor to soak in the typical Mediterranean lifestyle. Then proceed towards the
mountains to visit Cetinje. Villa Argentina, Dubrovnik,

Day 10: Dubrovnik/USA
Return to the U.S.
